{Installation des Silos / Installation of the silo}
{Situationen während des Filmdrehs / Situations during the film shooting}
Im Sommer 2020 waren Lukas Pfalzer und seine Crew zu Gast im Offspace Kaisitz während der Installation, Performance und des Drehs ihres Stückes mit dem Getreide-Silo. Besonderer Dank gilt den Nachbarn, die mit Strom, Wasser (und neugieriger Verwunderung) das Projekt unterstützten.
Der entstandene Film wird Teil der Abschlussarbeit von Lukas an der BURG Giebichenstein, Kunsthochschule Halle, im Januar 2021 sein.
Zwischen Dorf und Feld konnten wir ein ausgedientes Silo installieren, das vor Ort zum Film-Set und Klangkörper wurde. Der runde Innenraum enthebt die Protagonisten ihrer direkten Umgebung. Die Geräusche finden den Weg in den Innenraum und lassen die Vögel in den Bäumen, vereinzelte Autos auf der Landstraße erahnen.
Wir freuen uns darauf die Ergebnisse vor Ort zusammen zu erleben und zu diskutieren.

During the summer of 2020 Offspace Kaisitz hosted Lukas Pfalzer and his crew for the installation, performance and filming of his piece working with a metal silo. Special thanks go to the neighbors who provided water and electricity and supported kindly (and somewhat mystified) the project.
The movie will be part of Lukas’ final thesis at the BURG Giebichenstein, Kunsthochschule Halle in January 2021. we are stoked to see it come next year!
Between the village and the fields we installed a discarded grain silo, that became our film-set and body of sound. The rounded interior detaches the protagonists from the direct surroundings. Sounds filter into the interior as mere suggestions: the birds in the trees, the rare cars on the country road.
We are looking forward to come together at Kaisitz to present and discuss the results.
